Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Zaryn for using the service.

These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name], [registered address] ("Zaryn", "we"), and govern your use of zaryn.xyz, its API, the zev command-line tool when connected to Zaryn, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you use Zaryn for an organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you may.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it (for example, the age of digital consent in your EU country), and give accurate information. If you are under 18, you can't buy Premium or credits yourself; a parent or guardian has to.
You are responsible for everything done with your account, its keys, tokens and project keys. Keep them secret; tell us at [security email] if one is compromised.
One account per person, confirmed with that person's own email address. Automated tools and AI agents act through tokens a person approves on their own account (see Zaryn for AI agents); they don't get accounts of their own.

Your content

You keep all rights to what you upload: repositories, models, datasets, packages, images, issues and comments ("Your Content").
You give Zaryn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, index and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service — for example serving a public repository to visitors, replicating it for durability, pinning it to IPFS when you ask, and backing it up.
Public content is public. Anyone may view and copy public repositories, packages and images, and content you publish to IPFS or into the transparency log can't be withdrawn from copies others made. Choose visibility carefully.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including under the licences of datasets and model weights.

Acceptable use

Your use must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.

Plans, credits and payment

Free and Premium plans have the limits shown on the Billing page. We may change limits for future periods with at least 30 days' notice; we never delete your data because a limit changed.
Premium is paid with Zaryn credits, topped up in USDC as described in Billing and Zaryn credits. Credits are a prepaid balance for the Service only: they are not money, not transferable, and not redeemable for cash except where the law requires or we choose to refund.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated. [Refund policy: e.g. unused Premium time is refunded as credits on request within 14 days.]

Availability, backups and changes

We work to keep the Service available and back it up daily, but it is provided "as is" and without a guaranteed uptime unless a separate agreement says otherwise. Keep your own copies of important data — zev makes every clone a full copy.
We may change or discontinue features. If we shut the Service down we will give at least 90 days' notice so you can export your data.

Suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time.
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or when the law requires it. Where it is safe and lawful we tell you why and how to appeal ([abuse email]).
A suspended account keeps its data for [90] days so it can be restored or exported after an appeal, unless the law requires otherwise.

Liability

To the extent the law allows: Zaryn is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes go to the courts of [venue], unless the law of your country of residence gives you rights that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

We will announce material changes at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
